Luvuyo Masinda is Chief Executive of Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) at Standard Bank Group. He joined the Group in 2007 and has held several senior roles across the CIB business, serving as Deputy Chief Executive before his appointment as Chief Executive in August 2024. 

With close to 20 years of experience in financial services, Luvuyo is a highly accomplished executive known for strong leadership, deep financial and commercial insight, and a track record of delivering innovative client solutions across diverse portfolios. 

He holds a BCom (Hons) in Accounting from the University of Natal and is a Chartered Accountant (SA).
