Erik Wandrag is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Oceans Finance Company (OFC), a specialised investment platform focused on mobilising capital for climate and marine infrastructure solutions. He brings more than two decades of experience structuring and executing largescale infrastructure investments across emerging markets, representing cumulative project values exceeding US$15 billion. 

Before establishing OFC, Erik held senior investment and development roles at Climate Fund Managers, served as Head of Energy at Harith General Partners, and acted as Senior Transaction Advisor to the U.S. Government’s Power Africa initiative. He has also led business development at Cennergi and advised multinational corporates, financial institutions, and development finance institutions. 

In 2023, OFC concluded a landmark debtforclimate conversion to protect the Galápagos Islands—the largest transaction of its kind—mobilising longterm capital for conservation, delivering significant fiscal savings, and establishing a dedicated preservation endowment.
