Dirk van den Berg is the Head of UK Export Finance for Southern Africa at UK Export Finance (UKEF). He brings four decades of experience in corporate and investment banking, with deep expertise across credit, corporate sales, business development, and relationship management.

He has extensive specialist knowledge in trade and working capital finance, as well as structured and corporate finance. Since joining UKEF, Dirk has played a key role in supporting complex, largescale infrastructure transactions across the Southern African region.

Dirk holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, an MBA, and an LLB (cum laude).
