Crosby Mkhwanazi leads Client Coverage within Corporate and Investment Banking at Standard Bank Group, bringing more than 20 years of banking experience across multiple African markets and business functions. He has held senior leadership roles across the Group, with a career grounded in client engagement, strategic execution, and pan‑African market development.

Before assuming his current role, Crosby spent over 18 years in Transaction Banking, where he led the global business for more than four years and previously served as Regional Head for South Africa, Southern Africa, and Central Africa. During this time, he played a central role in shaping the Group’s transaction banking strategy and strengthening its continental franchise.

A Chartered Accountant, Crosby also holds a Certificate in International Cash Management from the Association of Corporate Treasurers. He has led major strategic technology programmes modernising the Group’s digital channels and enhancing solutions for Corporate and Investment Banking and Commercial Banking clients.
