Colin Rees Emanuel is the Chief Executive Officer of C. Steinweg Bridge (Pty) Ltd, overseeing a leading logistics, shipping, and commodities platform with more than 3,500 employees across 11 African countries. With over 30 years of experience, he has built and scaled logistics and trading businesses across frontier and emerging markets.

Colin began his career in shipping operations before establishing freight forwarding and ships agency operations in Northern Mozambique. He later founded Bridge Trade (Pty) Ltd and led Felda Bridge Africa, expanding its oil trading and processing footprint across the region. As CEO of Bridge Shipping (Pty) Ltd, he executed a management buyout backed by Standard Bank Private Equity and positioned the group for institutional growth.

Since integrating the business into the global C. Steinweg network in 2012, Colin has driven sustained expansion and strengthened the group’s regional platform. His leadership is defined by deep operational expertise, disciplined capital allocation, and a long‑term commitment to building resilient logistics infrastructure across Africa.
