Christina Westholm‑Schroder is the Chief Underwriter at Sovereign Risk, bringing more than 35 years of expertise in political risk insurance. She previously held several senior leadership roles at the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), part of the World Bank Group, including serving as Head of Reinsurance.

Christina currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board and Chair of the Risk Committee at the African Trade and Investment Development Agency (ATIDI). She is a former Vice President and Management Committee member of the Berne Union and remains active in industry and philanthropic initiatives. She also serves on the advisory board of an African impact fund.

She holds a business degree from the Stockholm School of Economics and an MBA from New York University.
