Anne Aliker brings over 30 years of experience in financial services across leading global and domestic institutions, including Standard Bank and Citibank. Her career spans investment banking strategy and execution, with deep expertise in capital markets, project and leveraged finance, and mergers and acquisitions. She has led complex, multimarket transactions that draw on the full suite of investment banking solutions.

A Ugandan national based in the United Kingdom, Anne leads specialised sector teams across the 20 African markets in which Standard Bank operates. She and her teams provide industry insights and strategic advisory in collaboration with Investment Banking, Global Markets, and Transactional Products and Services.

Anne also has extensive governance experience, having served as a nonexecutive director and investment committee member at a private equity firm, as well as Chair of the Board of Governors of a leading independent school in Kenya.
