  • 10km starts promptly at 07:00 and 5km starts promptly at 07:15

• Corner of Westwold Way & Lower Park Drive, Prince of Wales Dr, Parkwood, Randburg, 2132
• Is there parking available for participants?
  • Yes, limited parking is available at Johan Celliers Field, the entrance is on Westwold Way (Jan Celliers Tennis Courts / Cricket Oval Entry) Parkwood. It is suggested for runners to carpool or make use of e-hailing services.
• Are there water stations along the route?
• There are 3 Watering Holes on the route

• How do I register for the Standard Bank Run 2026 event?
• On the One Reg Website here 
• What is the cost to enter and what does it include?
  • 5KM – R150, Plus R30 License, Plus R8 & a 10% Service fee
  • 10KM – R180 Plus R60 License, Plus R8 & a 10% Service fee
  • All Runners will receive a race shirt and race pack.  
• Can I register on the day of the event?
• No late registrations will be allowed.
• Is there an age limit for participants?
• 5km – Minimum age is 9 years old
• 10km – Minimum age is 14 years old
• Can I transfer my registration to another person?
• No transfers will be allowed.
• Why do I need a Temporary License?
  • Temporary licenses are required for the 10km race only. Runners must race with their licence. Club runners should already have a valid licence; non-members will need to purchase a temporary licence at the event.
• Who requires an age tag?
  • All runners entered in the 10km who are aged 14–18, or 40 years and older, must wear an age tag on the front and back of their race shirt.

• Can I bring a guest to the run 

  • Each runner must have a registered entry to qualify for the run. 

• Can I register more than one runner on a single booking?

  • Yes. One person can register multiple runners under a single booking, as long as the payment has not yet been completed. Each runner must still be entered individually during the registration process with their own details. 

  • Once payment has been completed, additional runners must be registered under a new booking.

• When and where can I collect my race pack?
  • Zoo Lake Sports Club Corners Westwold Way / Lower Park Drive, Prince of Wales Dr, Parkwood, Randburg, 2132
  • Friday 29th May 2026 (10:00– 19:00)
  • Saturday 30th May 2026 (10:00 – 19:00)
  • Sunday 31st May 2026 (05:00 – 06:45)
• What items are included in the race pack?
  • Drawstring bag, Energade, and jungle bar.
• Can someone else collect my race pack on my behalf?
  • Yes, they will need to bring along the confirmation email you received

• What time should I arrive on the event day?
  • Preferably 1 x hour before the race starts.
• Is there a bag drop facility?
  • Yes, this will be available at the marquee in the restaurant parking lot. Use of the facility is at your own risk, and the organisers cannot be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage.
• Are there restroom facilities available at the venue?
  • Yes
• Can I bring my pet to the event?
  • No

• What entertainment and activities are planned after the run?
  • There will be light entertainment and a kid’s play area.
• Is there a specific schedule for post-race events?
  • Prize giving will take place at 08:30
• Can spectators attend the post-race entertainment?
  • Yes, spectators are welcome, we appreciate the support for the runners.

• Are headphones allowed during the race?
  • No
• Can I run with a stroller or bring my bicycle? 
  • Yes, for the 5km only. Runners with strollers will need to run at the back of the line.
• Are costumes or fancy dress encouraged?
  • Yes

• How is the race timed?
  • Every runner will receive a personalised race chip to track their time. Your time will start when you run over the start mat and will end when you run over the finish mat. Your result will be posted immediately after you cross the finish line.
• When and where will the race results be posted?
  • This will be posted on the registration website after the race. )
• Are there prizes for winners in different categories?
  • Yes, prize list below.

• What is the refund policy if I am unable to participate?
  • Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds.
• Will the event be cancelled in case of bad weather?
  • The event will be cancelled solely in the presence of severe risks or hazardous conditions. 
• Can I transfer my registration to the next year's event?
  • No

• Is there medical support available during the race?
  • Yes
• Are there first aid stations along the route?
  • A medical team is monitoring the runners throughout the event, and a First Aid Station is available at the finish line. line.
• What safety measures are in place for participants?
  • Road Marshalls will be present, and temporary road closures will occur—especially at busy intersections. The JMPD and Metro have been informed about the race and will be in attendance. .
