JSE’s SA Tomorrow 2026 takes South Africa’s reform and growth investment case to global investors
The Johannesburg Stock Exchange, Standard Bank and Goldman Sachs will convene the SA Tomorrow Investor Conference in November 2026. The conference will connect investors from North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia with South African policymakers, business leaders and market participants. The programme will examine macroeconomic stability, fiscal sustainability, structural reform, infrastructure delivery and listed-company performance.
The Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), Standard Bank and Goldman Sachs will convene the annual SA Tomorrow Investor Conference in November under the theme‘South Africa's Investment Case: From Policy Certainty to Growth’. The conference will connect investors from North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia with the leaders shaping South Africa's economic reform, corporate performance and investment outlook.
This year's programme will move beyond broad policy ambition to focus on the evidence investors need to assess South Africa's trajectory including macroeconomic stability, fiscal sustainability, measurable structural reform, infrastructure delivery and the performance of the country's leading listed companies. It will provide investors with direct access to policymakers, business leaders and market participants, alongside one-on-one investor engagements.
For the JSE, SA Tomorrow is part of a broader ambition to connect South Africa’s economic reform story with capital, companies and investable opportunities, strengthening the country’s position in global capital markets.
Through a series of high level plenary discussions and 1-on-1 meetings, investors will have direct access to senior government leaders and policymakers responsible for South Africa's economic, fiscal and reform agenda. Participants will include Minister of Finance, Enoch Godongwana; South African Reserve Bank Governor, Lesetja Kganyago; Minister of Transport, Barbara Creecy and Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Dean Macpherson. The conference will also feature Rudi Dicks, Head of the Project Management Office in the Presidency, alongside senior representatives from National Treasury and South African business.
South Africa’s investment proposition is not only a reform story; it is also a corporate performance story. SA Tomorrow will place listed companies at the centre of that case, with senior executives from Standard Bank Group, Naspers South Africa, Sasol and MTN participating in discussions on how South African companies are generating shareholder value through disciplined capital allocation, global earnings exposure, African growth, strong governance and operational resilience.
"South Africa has sophisticated capital markets, strong institutions and companies that compete successfully across local and global markets. Tangible reform progress is strengthening that foundation and creating new opportunities for investment and growth. SA Tomorrow brings government, business and global capital together to engage on those opportunities and unlock the next areas of value creation in South Africa." says Valdene Reddy, Group CEO of the JSE.
“Within emerging markets, Africa’s case is compelling. The IMF expects sub-Saharan Africa to grow by 4.5% this year and next. Africa holds many of the minerals the energy transition and AI depend on, and the continent’s own infrastructure and digital catchups are far from complete, creating immense investment opportunities. South Africa itself is also becoming more attractive as structural reform gathers pace. For investors looking to buy into the Africa story, and to do so with dependable liquidity and a business environment you can rely on, the JSE is the obvious choice,” says Sim Tshabalala, Chief Executive of the Standard Bank Group.
At a time when global capital is being allocated more selectively, SA Tomorrow is designed to address the questions that matter most to investors: the credibility of macroeconomic frameworks, progress in delivering measurable reform outcomes and resolving infrastructure constraints, and where investable growth is emerging.
SA Tomorrow combines the JSE's capital-markets leadership, Standard Bank's African banking and corporate insight, and Goldman Sachs' global investor reach. Together, the three institutions are creating a platform that connects South Africa’s reform and growth story directly with global capital, while showcasing credible investment opportunities across listed markets, companies and infrastructure.
