Thys is a corporate finance executive and director of Java Capital.

He began his career at one of South Africa’s leading audit firms as an article clerk where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Post articles and prior to joining Java Capital, Thys spent 8 years at a large South African investment bank before moving to its holding company in the role of investment executive.
