Standard Bank brings its expertise to Africa’s largest corporate and investment banking event

As Africa’s largest bank by assets, we play a crucial role in identifying opportunities that will allow our continent to thrive while being committed to leading conversations that will unlock Africa’s true potential.

In line with our commitment, we are proud to be sponsors at this year’s Bonds & Loans & ESG Capital Markets Africa event from 5 to 6 March at the Cape Town International Convention Centre. This event is the continent’s only pan-African debt event and the annual meeting place for over 1 100 of Africa’s most senior regional and international issuers, borrowers, investors, bankers, advisers and regulators, and features over 95 expert speakers.

Our participation in this event is supported by the fact that Standard Bank has been recognised for its ability to execute some of the most innovative and ground-breaking deals on the continent and recently received 8 accolades at the Bonds, Loans & ESG Capital Markets Africa Awards:

This year’s event is set to have 2 agendas which will run alongside the main event, comprising expert speakers, and will be open to all attendees:

  • Sovereign, Supra & Agency Financing and Investment Africa Forum on 5 March, which will be the largest gathering of sovereign, central banks and DCM decision-makers in Africa
