Mumba Kenneth Kalifungwa is the Chief Executive of Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited, bringing nearly three decades of experience in banking, finance, and strategy across multiple African markets. 
Prior to joining Stanbic, he served as CEO of Absa Bank Uganda and held senior executive leadership roles at Absa Bank Botswana and Barclays Bank Zambia as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director.   Mr Kalifungwa began his career in accounting and tax with Coopers & Lybrand (Grant Thornton Chartered Accountants) Zambia and the Zambia Revenue Authority. He holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University Business School and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) among other professional bodies.
