André Abadie is Managing Director at J.P. Morgan’s Centre for Carbon Transition (CCT), leading efforts to support clients’ decarbonisation strategies through transition finance, research, and advisory services. He co-developed the firm’s Carbon Compass methodology and net-zero target-setting framework, and recently advised the UK government’s Transition Finance Market Review. Previously, André spent a decade as Global Head of Environmental and Social Risk Management at J.P. Morgan and held senior roles at ABN AMRO, where he co-authored the Equator Principles. He was also Director at Sustainable Finance Ltd., and chaired the Hydropower Sustainability Assessment Forum. André holds a Master’s in Business Administration, a Higher Diploma in Company Law, and an Advanced Diploma in Sustainability. His work has shaped environmental and social risk practices across the financial sector and continues to influence how capital markets can accelerate sustainable economic transformation.
