Boitumelo Mosako is the CEO of the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) and a seasoned Chartered Accountant with more than 22 years of experience in the financial services sector. Prior to her appointment as CEO, she served as DBSA’s Chief Financial Officer, where she led strategy, investor relations, supply chain, and information technology, strengthening the Bank’s financial and operational platform.

Her career spans leadership roles across major institutions, including the South African Bureau of Standards—where she also served three terms as a Board member—Ernst & Young in South Africa and the United States, Citibank as a Corporate Finance Transactor, and Triumph Venture Capital as Executive Director for Finance and Investments.

Boitumelo holds a BCom and Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town, an Advanced Management Programme certificate from Harvard Business School, and a BBBEE Management Development Programme certificate from UNISA.
