Selvan Kistnasamy joined Standard Bank in 2006, gaining experience across sales, structuring and trading before settling into a derivatives trading role in 2008. He was appointed head of Equity Derivatives Trading in 2017, later expanding his role to head of Equities Trading in 2019. In 2020, he assumed full oversight of the equities business, and in 2024, he was appointed head of Trading, overseeing risk across all asset classes. Selvan is passionate about challenging the status quo and driving growth for his team and business.
