Aadil has over two decades of experience in investment banking, specialising in energy and infrastructure financing across sub-Saharan Africa. Since joining Standard Bank in 2006, he has progressed through various roles in project finance and global infrastructure. Currently, he leads the Energy & Infrastructure Finance business, driving investment strategies and supporting African sovereigns in accessing capital to address the continent's infrastructure investment gap. He is a qualified chartered accountant (CA(SA)) with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Johannesburg.
