Ghana

Ghana is a West African country known for its rich history, cultural diversity, and economic potential. It gained independence from British colonial rule in 1957, becoming the first sub-Saharan African nation to do so. Ghana is renowned for its stable democracy, with regular elections and peaceful transitions of power.
Economically, Ghana is a mixed economy with agriculture, services, and industry as key sectors. Agriculture, particularly cocoa, is a backbone of the economy, though it also produces gold, oil, and other natural resources. The services sector, especially banking, telecommunications, and tourism, has seen significant growth in recent years. The country is also a growing hub for technology startups and is working to diversify its economy beyond traditional commodities. Accra, its capital, is a major urban centre, and the country is recognized for its rich cultural heritage, including traditional festivals, music, and dance. Ghana is also a prominent member of regional organizations such as ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African States).
