Dr. Bjorn Lomborg
A prominent author, President of the Copenhagen Consensus Center (CCC) and a visiting fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution

Dr Lomborg is a prominent author, President of the Copenhagen Consensus Center (CCC) and a visiting fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution.  He previously served as the director of the Danish government's Environmental Assessment Institute.  

He is best known for authoring The Skeptical Environmentalist, a book detailing how the world is improving on almost all objective climate metrics. His other books include False Alarm, Cool It, How to Spend $75 Billion to Make the World a Better Place, The Nobel Laureates’ Guide to the Smartest Targets for the World: 2016–2030, and Prioritizing Development: A Cost Benefit Analysis of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.  In his capacity as President of the CCC, he brings together hundreds of the world's top economists, including seven Nobel Laureates, to use cost-benefit analysis for global priorities.  

He has been named one of TIME magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World. Over the years he has also been a frequent contributor to major media outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, Daily Telegraph, CNN, FOX, and the BBC. Dr Lomborg's latest book Best Things First goes in detail with the 12 most cost-effective investments for the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. It was named one of the best books of the year by both the Economist and the Financial Times. The underlying research papers are published in Cambridge University Press’ Journal of Benefit-Cost Analysis
