
Ken's career spans across the Private Sector, Public Sector, and the Development/NGO Sector. He has worked for various organisations, including the Law Society of Kenya's Private Prosecution of Goldenberg (1993-1994), International Commission of Jurists (Kenya Chapter), Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Chambers of Lord Anthony Grabiner, One Essex Court Chambers, Inner Temple in London, Standard Chartered Bank, Kenya Anti-Corruption Authority (KACA), Interest Rates Advisory Centre, Department of Governance & Ethics in the Office of the President, and State Law Office, among others.
Ken has also served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Public Complaints Standing Committee/Ombudsman, Secretary General of the Intergovernmental Standing Committee on Shipping (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda & Zambia), Gazetted Public Prosecutor for corruption-related offenses under the repealed Prevention of Corruption Act, and inaugural Chairman of the Embu Municipal Board.
Ken is an alumnus of Alliance High School, holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Downing College, Cambridge University. He also holds a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Kenya School of Law, a Certificate in Legislative Drafting from the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London, and a Certificate in International Trade and Transport Law from Lloyds Maritime Academy, London.
