SIBOS 2022, Growing Africa through digital innovation
In 2022, the world’s premier financial services conference, SWIFT International Banking Operations Seminar (SIBOS), will be returning as an in-person event, bringing together the world’s financial services industry community to engage on prevalent industry challenges and connect to create new opportunities across the African and global financial ecosystems. Of course, because we recognise the role creating meaningful partnerships plays in driving Africa’s growth, Standard Bank will once again be there.
The in-person event will take place over 4 days at the RAI Convention Centre, Amsterdam, Netherlands, from 10 to 13 October, and be complemented by a virtual conference experience extending SIBOS to the global financial community.
This year’s theme, ‘Progressive finance for a changing world’, recognises the impact of financial risks in an evolving ecosystem, the need for digital transformation and the necessity to drive sustainable practices and ethical change. The conference will feature thought leaders and financial experts from around the globe, focusing on risk and regulation, sustainability and technology, and the need for financial service industry players to adapt in order to grow in an uncertain world.
