Standard Bank at The Network Forum (TNF) Africa Meeting 2024

As Africa’s largest bank by assets, we believe that we have a responsibility to leverage our expertise and lend our voice to events and forums that connect Africa to the world and the world to Africa.

As such, we are once again a proud sponsor of the annual Network Forum Africa Meeting, which is taking place in London on the 24th of April 2024.

The Network Forum is a curated global community for the custody, settlement, and the post-trade industry. Its key aim is to provide a structured networking environment for this tight-knit industry group, in which key issues are discussed, developments are communicated, and best practice shared. This year’s event will once again be congregating the buyside and the sell side with over 100 network managers, COOs, direct custody providers, FMIs and FinTech innovators all gathering to discuss various topics, with a core focus on how to face the future together by focusing on the key areas of growth and challenges that the market faces.

Some of the conversations to which we will be adding our voice include:

  • Africa Capital Markets: Trends & Evolution featuring Simon Matthews, Group Head of Equity Capital Markets and Javier Penino Vinas, Group Head of Debt Capital Markets and Distribution
  • Digital Asset Custody and Tokenization featuring Hari Chaitanya, Head of Investor Services, Product Management
  • Global & Sub Custodian View – What operational challenges are we seeing in the region for end investors and associated advocacy efforts? Featuring Sally Jacques, Head of Information Management

We look forward to engaging with various stakeholders and leveraging our insights and expertise on how our continent’s sustainable growth can be achieved.
